Establishment
In 1908, Misakikan opened as a Japanese-style hotel. At that time, our main customers were the people who enjoyed the sea. They didn’t swim. They soaked in the sea to cure their disease.
Late 1910s
This picture was taken in around 1917. The girl who stands center is the first owner’s daughter. She wears a costume of a festival in Misaki. The man who stands next to her is Misakikan’s staff.
Around 1930s
This picture was taken in around 1931. There is a motorcycle in front of the door. This picture shows a room that had just reformed.
Late 1940s
That site is used as road, “Fisherina Walf”. “URARI” was opened in July 24th. It contains a civic hall, and local food market.
